Skincare Mastery with Liz Earle

As I have entered my early 20s, attempting to master my Skincare routine is something that I definitely need to prioritise in my daily routine. Trying to decipher my skin type is difficult, I can get small dry patches in the winter but I can also get oily in my T-zone in warmer months. So I guess that makes me a mid-way of, normal? Who knows! I have dabbled in a few different skincare products over the years, mainly in the cleanser department, but surprisingly I have always come back to the same cleanser that I first begin with (FYI wipes do not count as cleansers).

I’m sure it will come as no surprise to you that the product in question is the infamous Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. Loved by all mums, daughters, sisters and probably your dog as well, this is the all round good doing and effective cleanser that I first tried due to it being the perfect entry product for skincare newbies, but I was surprised to find that I would still be using it as my go-to years down the line.

However when it comes to going further than the standard procedure of cleansing and moisturising, I feel like I need to up my game. So I was most delighted when I found this little beauty box under the Christmas Tree this past December. Firstly mistaken for an advent calendar, this is actually 8 doors of a range of iconic Liz Earle Products that you and mix and match to tailor to your own specific skincare needs.

Firstly, you start off with the legendary Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish to wipe away the day’s makeup using a muslin cloth for extra squeaky clean results.

Then, pour a generous amount of toner onto a cotton pad and sweep over the skin and neck. Follow up with the Superskin Concentrate for Night when you feel like your skin needs that extra boost.

Then, you are free to switch up each week which mask you think will best benefit your skin. For a deep skin detox use the Deep Cleansing Mask, to add moisture back into dry skin use the Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask or if you want to perk up dull looking skin, then use the Brightening Treatment Mask. Most masks need leaving on for around 15 minutes before wiping off using the sponges.

Have any of you guys tried any of the products from the Liz Earle Skincare range? Leave me your favourite down below! I think the daily moisturiser is next on my list…

Unfortunately I don’t think that this specific set is available anymore, but you can still get the Liz Earle Starter Kits that come with the Cleanser, Tonic, Mask, Moisturiser and muslin cloth!
