Slip Dress

So, guess what… I’ve finally finished my internship! So crazy, it honestly doesn’t feel like two minutes ago when I was last telling you about it. There have been some gruelling days and some extraordinary days but I’m so thankful for all parts of the experience and really grateful for the amount of shoots I was able to assist the stylist on. Having all my days and hours taken up by the internship certainly made me realise how much I should appreciate all the spare time I have to pursue my dreams and passions. Having worked since I was in 13 years old in various jobs, purely for the money and experience, I truly believe that you should have at least one job when you’re a teenager, because seen as though it probably won’t be in the sector you actually want to work, you’ll be 10x more motivated to do what you want to do!

Now, this is making it sound like I didn’t enjoy my internship… which is totally wrong. In fact, I haven’t share a lot of what I was getting up to on here as I wasn’t sure if it was something you guys would enjoy, so let me know if that’s something you’d like to see! But otherwise, I’ve been posting loads of behind the scene images on my Instagram, so go give me a follow and say hello over there! But the main point of what I was saying here is, make sure that you do something every single day to contribute to what you love. Because that really does = happiness.

If you hadn’t had noticed, slip dresses are a massive trend at the moment. In fact, anything silk and pyjama-esque is all the rage in the fashion industry. At the moment, styling them over top of a striped top seems to be the cool thing to do, but on a sunny and chilly day in London, a warm oversized jumper was all that I needed for the ultimate comfort. Who doesn’t want to feel like they’ve stepped out of the house wearing their PJS!? (The amount of times I’ve stepped out of my front door fully dressed with my slippers still on is one too many)

I must also add that I’m such a fan of the lingerie style silky lace tops too. In fact, Rosie Huntington-Whitely does a beautiful nightwear range for M&S that I’m sure would go unnoticed over a pair of jeans…
