Most of my wardrobe now consists of tops with sleeves that dunk into your coffee if you’re not careful.

It wasn’t until recently when I was showing my mum my pinterest moodboard and she pointed out that I had a thing for oversized clothes that I realised, she was right! Why did this seem so surprising to me? Most of my wardrobe now consists of tops with sleeves that dunk into your coffee (if you’re not careful) and trousers that I could freely do a backwards somersault in if i really wanted… whether I can or not is up for debate.
But it’s true that once my wardrobe was filled with tight bodycon dresses and skinny jeans and now it looks the complete opposite. My style moodboard is filled with clever layering and oversized masculine denim pants, and may I mention that I’m obsessed with the current trend for oriental style wrap tops and trousers, like, obsessed.
I love the comfort, practically and utterly chic vibe that it gives. You many remember that I was lusting over the flared trousers and bell sleeve tops that Beaufille’s recently showcased at NYFW, so I was ecstatic when I found this bell sleeve top that fit the criteria. I paired with this black jumpsuit from Zara that I adore and layered the top on over, as to make the look feel like two matching separates.
We took these images on a sunny Wednesday in Leeds and now I’m back up north the outfit posts are going to keep on coming! I’m currently working on a post in which I’m going to speak about my wardrobe which I’ve been reinventing, and you’ll be getting to see a lot of the new pieces I’ve picked up on the blog soon! So keep a look out, and thank you for your continuous support and following me on this journey! It’s been so inspiring.
