Cherry Blossom

So Spring officially started on March 20th, but it was only on a stroll around Notting Hill last weekend that I truly felt some sense of Spring Weather. I do feel like it is extremely typical of many UK fashion bloggers to post pictures underneath a Cherry Blossom Tree, but I too have fallen for their beauty!

These past few weeks have been maniac crazy. If you aren’t caught up, I have just started an internship in London which has basically eaten up most of my free time and now I totally understand why people who work full time LIVE for the weekends. For me, that isn’t going for after work drinks on a Friday and hitting up the club scene on the Saturday consuming copious alcoholic beverages (although one glass of red wine doesn’t hurt), it’s about making the most of the free time I have to see friends and focus on my own personal projects that make me feel the happiest.

Last weekend, I took a stroll around London Town in more of a tourist-y fashion. Taking Borris Bikes and getting lost on old streets full of beautiful Edwardian houses. I realized that it would be so disappointing to have lived in London for 3 years and not fully seen and explored the city as a tourist would.

I was so relived to be able to create some images this weekend, it felt far too overdue! I’m hoping to really start getting more consistent with my blog, I feel like I have all the answers and knowledge in my head but getting round to actually executing them for my own means seems to be the hardest part! I’m currently for some photographers based in/around London who are looking to build up their portfolio and would be interested in getting together to create some images. If that sounds like something interesting to you, come and say hello at heatheribberson@gmail.com.

I wanted this post to be more like a catch up and some sort of therapy session where I let out all the things that I’ve been thinking inside my head with you guys. So look out for my next post which will be more of a thorough at my outfit par the coat. Next week is going to be what’s turning into an average crazy week once again, but I’m assisting on my second cover shoot as stylist on Monday which I’m so excited about! I feel much more alive when I’m out of the office, being around other creative minds and creating something beautiful! I’m trying to take as much backstage imagery when I have a spare moment, but I can’t share that with you until the cover is out on stands!

So make sure you’re following me on Instagram and Bloglovin’ to stay up to date with my latest blog posts and for behind the scene images!
