Frill Seekers

I don’t think I can actually remember a time BEFORE bardot tops. It feels like one of those items that has suddenly come popular out of nowhere, but feels like it’s been around forever at the same time.

That’s perhaps because it isn’t by any means a new invention. Think back to images of movie star Grace Kelly in the fifties and you’ll get that picture of gracefulness and classic style. But today, these bardot tops are made for those who want ease, fun and playfulness. They come in all forms: tops, dresses and I was even captured by this playsuit that was an instant sell-out.

So, what makes them so covetable? Well, combined with this seasons second hottest trend (frills, of course), your outfit is instantly elevated for the spring. Perfect for the warmer season when a slight breeze up the sleeves is always welcome (sweaty ladies, you know what I mean).

I can’t quite imagine life without frills or off the shoulder tops anymore. In my search for my birthday frock, I’m finding myself drawn towards anything maxi with ruffles. It’s just so easy isn’t it!

Lastly, I have to apologize for being a bit MIA on here recently. Trust me, after 2 days of not posting I was feeling the ache! Things have just been a bit hectic recently but I promise that a few days not posting doesn’t mean that I have been working! I spent the weekend filming a really exciting new project for you that’s taking up my entire days editing. Fingers crossed it’ll be ready for you to set your eyes on soon, and when it does… make sure you’re following me on my social media to get the notification before anyone else!
