Simple Holiday Skincare

I’ll be the first to openly admit, with a bit of shame, that I don’t have the most rigorous skincare routine. It’s not that I don’t agree with having a morning and evening routine that consists of 5-6 different (and vital) steps, it’s more that I completely understand and agree with using the best skincare on the market that is packed full of luscious ingredients for your skin to drink up.

For this reason, I want to ensure that I am only using products know to have some of the best ingredients in them so I know that they are actually working on my skin. Seen as though luxury skincare is expensive – due to these glorious ingredients – my skincare stash is fairly small. But I thought I’d share with you the products that I have been using for a while and the three essentials that I make sure to bring on holiday with me.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish:

An oldie, but a goodie. As the phrase goes, I think everyone and their mum knows about this cleanser and rightly so! I can’t remember how many years ago it was since I first got this product and I’ve found it to be one of the only cleanses that works well with my skin.

Pure Supergrape Day Cream:

A fairly new moisturiser to my routine as it was a sample I received in a gift set that was the perfect travel size. I haven’t stayed loyal to one moisturiser yet as I don’t think there’s any harm in switching them up every now and then, so long as they’re doing their job right.

SPF 30 Cream

This is actually the product that comes first in my morning routine, and always underneath my moisturiser. I cannot stress how important it is to use SPF, and it’s a no brainier when on holiday! Most brands are fine to use, so long as they don’t irritate your skin, and I’ve heard that there is not much difference between SPF 30 and 50 so take your pick. But be sure not to go any lower in than number 30 for your face, it’s the only one you’ll ever have! So take care of it.

What skincare products are your fail safe, go-tos? Is there anything that I’m missing out on that you could recommend!?
