With New York Fashion Week kicking off yesterday, I think there was clearly something NY city-esque that I was unconsciously wanting to encapsulate in these images, much to my desire to be there amongst the fashion crowd myself.
If you’ve followed me on my little corner on the internet for a while now, then I’m sure you’ll have already figured that I have a bit of a thing for anything backless.
I’m pretty sure that I’ve spoken about this obsession in a previous blog post here, so I won’t go over it any longer. But let’s just take a moment to appreciate this backless number from Shein.
Much like dresses, the reason I love jumpsuits is for their effortless ease as an instant put together outfit. Even more specifically, I always look for a wide leg in my jumpsuits as I find them a much more flattering fit and elongating on the leg.
The thin, vertical stripes are also great at elongating and slimming the body, which is something that I definitely look for when wearing fairly figure hugging items. And who doesn’t love a good stripe anyway?

Make this jumpsuit more fall appropriate by wearing a long sleeved crew neck/roll neck underneath it. Keep it within the colour scheme in either a black or white.
