Explorers of the City

I’ve lived in London for two years now and after having only visited the city a handful of times before, I never thought that I would feel such a strong connection to the city that I now call my (second) home – don’t worry mum. But as I’m approaching what could be my final year in the city for a while, I’ve realised that there are a lot of things that I HAVEN’T done. And what is there NOT to do in London!?

When you live somewhere, there’s a tendency to get a bit complacent thinking that you’ll easily get a chance to visit that place you’ve been wanting to go since you were a kid, or that you’re so close to xyz that you can go anytime you want… but just not today, or the next day, then it’s soon a year later and you realise that you haven’t truly experienced the city that you’re living in.

My boyfriend coming down for the weekend is a perfect time to immerse myself in the city and get lost. I love Kensington and wanted to visit some of London’s iconic free museums on Exhibition Road. I also had my first Borris Bike experience and that’s when I stumbled upon those beautiful cherry blossom trees where I took my last blog post.

I was obviously feeling the Coachella vibes as I gravitated straight towards this cropped mirrored jacket and round 80s sunglasses in preparation for the day that I attend, that day will come soon! This has literally been my go-to outfit, making sure I take extra layers just in case of London showers. I’ve fallen so in love with these boyfriend jeans though that I desperately need a new pair! Any recommendations for shops that sell good, well quality (and comfortable) jeans?

Hope you have a lovely weekend!
