Breath of Fresh Air

If you are following me on Twitter or read one of my most recent posts, then you might know that I had a bit of a hard week last week, suffering from the effects of a bit of stress. I think a lot of it comes from trying to put so much effort into my blog, that I find myself sat inside the house on my computer most days. And let me just say, this is no way for the creative mind to flourish and prosper. No wonder I wasn’t feeling inspired!

I have to remind myself that it is equally as important to get outside on a sunny day and breathe in the fresh air. There really is no better remedy than a bit of oxygen to the lungs. So for this post, I thought I would get myself fully immersed in my countryside landscape and create my own sunny, blue sky.

Ever since I got my hands on the Topshop bardot, shirt dress, I’ve been a little obsessed with the colour baby blue. That dress made me feel so confident when I wore it, that I’m positive it had something to do with that gorgeous pastel hue.

This dress is a bit more of an oversized number, but hopefully not too oversized that I drown in it. I always think it’s important to counteract the size with a pair of badass heels to give the legs a bit more shape. I manage to bag these heels in the Zara sale and feel in love with their 70’s square shape toe. It’s about time I admit that I have worn my other tan heels from Zara to their death, so it was about time I got myself a new pair.

I also cannot NOT mention this absolute steal of a bag. You just cannot miss a Zara sale can you? They truly are the best. Despite my boyfriend saying it looks like I should stick my tax disk in the circles (ha ha), I just have fallen head over heels in love for how expensive and chic this bag looks! If you’re following me on Instagram (if not, then why not!?) then you’ll have already seen this bag crop up in countless pictures… I just can’t get enough of it!
